can you please tell me if the holland-binkley hitch can be used to pull a 3 car hauler or is it only for rv towing. i recently purchased a dually which has one already installed in it and am wonder if i should replace it...

The Holland-Binkley 5th wheel hitches is not necessarily limited to RV towing.  It will depend on the rating and configuration of the 3 car hauler you intend to use.  The three models advertised as currently in production are listed below.  All are rated at 32,000 lbs.  The mounting rail capacity is a consideration when determining maximum towing capacity also.

Holland/Binkley 5th Wheels
 
For R.V., utility or industrial trailers and accepts standard 2" SAE king pins. The Double Pivot #FW0002-45 permits 10 degree side-to-side pivoting. All three are rated at 32,000 lbs. capacity.

FW0001 Binkley 5th Wheel, 12" Diameter Single Inverted on Trailer
FW0002-45 Binkley 5th Wheel, 12" Diameter Double Inverted on Trailer
FW6000 Holland 5th Wheel, 22" Diameter Single Mounted on Tow Vehicle
