Trucking: hot shot business, hot shot business, dodge 3500

i am wanting to start my own hot shot business. i have many questions but am having a hard time finding the answers. a couple of them are, if im driving say a dodge 3500 dually pulling a 40-50 ft gooseneck trailer, does that require a CDL? Also where are the best places to find loads and are loads hard to come by?  Is the business as lucrative as i hear it is? i know i have many more questions but that a good start. thanks a lot for your time and i look forward to your response.
