Trucking: New Start, grade tank, diesel mechanic

Hi. I recently obtained a CDL-A, I drove in the 80's, hauling flatbed and Food grade tank 18 Wheelers. I am in the market for my own truck, I have found one through Ryder(I am a diesel Mechanic).
I want lease on to a company but most want 1 year of experience. Are there any "good" companies to lease on to in the position I am in.

Jeffrey, best advice I can give is keep trying til you find a company that will contract with you.  Capacity seems to be tightening up in the market so sooner than later you will find a carrier that needs your capacity.  After the first year you will have many more options available.
This is just one sight but there are others that will let you apply on line so you can apply to lots of carriers in a short time.
