Trucking: advice, hispanic female, financial analyst

Question
I am a 37 year old Hispanic female.  I am securely employed with Los Angeles County for the past 12 years.  I earn an average of 80K per year.  I have been contemplating buying a truck and having someone drive it for me.  I have 60K saved as start up money.  I'm trying to do as much research as I can before I make my move.  I do not know anything about the business, however, I feel that I need to invest in something to live more comfortable.  I don't want to leave my job, it pays for my house and bills.  However, I would like to make more money on the side.  I hear that now is not a good time to invest due to the economy.  What do you think?  what do you recommend I do?

Answer
As a 42 yr old Hispanic male, and previous owner of 5 trucks,my advice to you is no. being that you have no experience in the business, you have to rely on other people to make your money and decisions for you. you can be taken for a ride.(no pun intended). with 60K, go to a financial analyst where your money's at and look into "No Load" Investments.
