what is the way to shift a 10 speed transmission

Depends on the Mfg.
Usually and "H" pattern, once you get to 5th, you flip up the toggle in front of the shifter and start over again.

Now, on the "Super 10", you go through the "H" pattern, BUT, every shift, you flip the toggle every time you move to the next gear.  Mike
