Im thinking of starting a transport service with a dully and 4 car tralior but scared to purcess the truck and trailor without the resources and finding cars to pick up at my destination.How should go about getting started

Hi Orlando,

Contact your state's Department of Transportation for all the requirements on getting your equipment on the road.  As far as the loads, I would stop by three or four auto auctions in your area.  You may find a trucking company there that you can hire your equipment on to.  This way, let them worry about the loads and you worry about moving the cars.  You may have to travel quite a ways to hit up a few auctions, but talk to as many people as you can and see who the big shippers and transport companies are.  You may want to lease out to "get your feet wet".
