Trucking: agriculture stop on 95 in fla, gross weights, oil leaks

what is this? Do I have to stop with a 26ft rental truck like at the weigh stations?

Typically, State Weigh Stations are looking for overloads on individual axles, and the total Gross Weight of the Truck. Once it is determined that the axle, the combination of axles, or gross weights are exceeded, they may check for everything, ie: oil leaks, over length, over height/ width etc.
At the State Highweigh Weigh Stations, when the sign say's  "ALL TRUCKS" must be weighed, a 26' Rental would be included, including Pick up Trucks which also can be overloaded.
But some states do vary.
