Trucking: Hot shotting, ford f350, hot shotting

Question
Does anyone use the Ford F350 to tow a 6 car hauler?

Answer
Hi Douglas.

Six cars is a bit excessive on a F350, even if it's a dually diesel. The new F450 can only haul 24,500 lbs, I believe.  So it depends on the weight of the cars/trucks and your trailer.  A Ford Mustang is about 3800-4000 pounds.  Trucks get heavier.  You certainly don't want to push your luck, and usually guys with F350's only pull a four car.  The Fords do pull the most weight and hopefully you have a dually diesel.  If you have that, I would think five cars would be max that you could pull weight wise.

Good luck!
