Trucking: truck brocker, transportation intermediaries association, third party logistics

Are there any schools that i can take a truck broker class at other than the DOT? Also what are the requirements to get a Truck Brocker license? thank you for all your help

Tiffany, I would start with the industry association, The Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) is the professional organization of the $80 billion third party logistics industry.  http://www.tianet.org/tia.asp
There are links to consultants as well as training materials.
I would start with the "New Broker" tab and go from there.  I have also seen several private companis offering instruction either on-line or on-site.  Some are run in connection with active brokerages and let you spend time in their office.  I'm not sure how much they will show however since they could be training competitors.  Here are a few to check out:
