Where or whom would one look up employment oppourtunities,or assignments for auto recovery/reposessions/collections?Or how do you know if an association offers any type of assignments or employment,along with membership fees?If you know of any associations that you would recommend for the state of Texas?And any info that pertains to a newly started Towing & Recovery service?                                Thankyou

If I understand your question correctly, it appears that you are looking for business opportunities to begin an auto recovery firm. If I have misunderstood you, please let me know so I can respond accordingly.

Start with the local chapter of the NASD (National Association Of Auto Dealers). While they typically utilize external financing sources, most do leases as well and many of them carry there own paper.

I have heard of a group that is strictly for auto recovery. I am not sure of their specific name. Perhaps you could contact some of the repo firms in your area and ask. Most owners are more than willing to share information.

As far as chasing new business or assignmenet opportunities, there is no easy way. You have to begin building relationships. Contact leasing agents at the local level. They could be a great source of assisnments.

The Buy Here Pay Here lots are also a great opportunity to develop relationships. THese people turn over vehicles frequently.
