Truck Repair: GMC Yukon heat control not working, gmc yukon, coolant level

2002 GMC Yukon SLT, automatic hvac control unit, temperature selection; to get heat to be directed anywhere, I have to turn the temperature know all the way to highest heat setting, otherwise, cool to cold air is delivered.

Hi Charles,
I am not very familiar with these vehicles however for basic checks I would start with your coolant level, if there is not enough coolant in the system to reach the heater core it will not blow warm air. sorry I couldn't be more helpfull.
