Truck Repair: fuel in intake, dodge truck, rawl

I HAVE A CUMMINS IN A DODGE TRUCK THAT HAS RAWL FUEL IN THE INTAKE WHY ?

If it is a 89-93 then maybe a crack in the head where fuel filter is plumbed into it.If a 94-97 12 valve it should not be anyway to get in there.The 24 valve has a fuel return from injectors cast in the head,another possible crack of pouris head.Last thing it could be is a dropped valve & damaged injector tip but it would have a misfire & popping like sound from intake.
