Truck Repair: 5.9 cummins, isbs, open throttle

Question
I have a 2000 4-wheel drive 3/4 ton. I was comming home from work and I made a turn went to go into 3rd gear and the truck cut off. Tryed to start back up motor just turns over. The truck was low in fuel, but was full of fuel when it cut off(the truck ran 1 and 1/2 days after fill up.60 miles) Got the truck home and tried to bleed fuel system and changed fuel filter but will not start and it still has air in the system. We can see fuel smoke out of exhaust. What should I do now?

Answer
ANy fault codes?Try breaking loose an injector line to see if fuel is coming out? Those ISBs are a bugger to get the air out if it runs out of fuel. They should have a shreader valve fitting on the fuel pump inlet to check fuel pressure to the pump.Should be MIN 5 PSI at wide open throttle.Idling around 10-15 PSI.If not running just "bump" starter & electric pump will run about 20 secs.
