Truck Repair: 1996 CHEVY 6.5 TURBO DIESEL, turbo bearings, turbo diesel

Question
HELLO I A PROBLEM WITH MY ENGINE IT SEEMS THAT MY FUEL PUMP IS RELESING MORE FUEL THAN NORMAL IT WOUNT PASS EMISSIONS BECAUSE IT SMOKES TO MUCH MY DIESEL MILLAGE IS GOOD AND ALSO MY OIL  WHAT WILL IT BE     THANKS ANGEL

Answer
First check the air filter, and make sure it is unrestricted.

Then remove the hose between the intake manifold, and the turbocharger, and see if there is oil in it.

Your turbo bearings may be shot, and you are not getting the correct amount of turbo boost and air, and the fuel isn't burning.

When that hose is off the turbo, see if the turbo shaft turns freely.
