Truck Repair: gasoline in oil, poppet valves, piston rings

Question
Hi----have a 94 s-10 blazer v6. need to crank engine somewhat before starting and am getting gasoline in the oil.  Any advice.   Thanks Randall

Answer
Hello Randall,
That's a later model than I have experience with, but from things I have heard, it sounds like you might have a line or two loose from the injection spyder or poppet valves, and it is squirting raw fuel into the intake, which would flood a cylinder or two, and wash past the piston rings.
Bet your mileage is poor also.
