Truck Repair: MECH N14, coolant leaks, frame holes

Question
I HAVE A MECH N14 CUMMINS THAT IS LEAKING COOLANT FROM UNDER THE CYLINDER HEADS. IHC WANTS 10K TO OVERHAUL IT; I'M CONSIDERING REPLACING THIS ENGINE WITH A BIG CAM CUMMINS. QUESTION: 1.) WILL A BIG CAM CUMMINS FIT THE SAME FRAME HOLES AS MY N14( 410HP@1800RPM)?
2.) WHAT WOULD BE THE EQUIVALENT, BC2,BC3,BC4?
3.)ARE THE FLOW FOR ALL CUMMINS THE SAME OR WOULD I HAVE TO BUY THE RADIATOR RO MATHCH THE REPLACMENT ENGINE?
4.) WOULD BUYING A REPLACEMENT BLOCK FOR MY N14 SOLVE THE LEAKAGE AND AVOID A OVERHAUL; THE ENGINE OTHERWISE IS FINE.

Answer
It is probably just the head gaskets leaking.I dont recall ANY N14s that we had to machine the block because of coolant leaks. The liners are too low causing the gaskets to leak.Cummins does make a 0.002 shim to install on top of the liner to correct this until time for overhaul.
1)Yes it would fit because they are the same size engine.
3)The older engines are Low Flow cooling & radiators are NOT the same.
4)I pretty much explained this one in opening statement.Usually only time block gets replaced is for other damage like a dropped pushtube or main bearing spun.
I would not overhaul it if it does not have alot of blow-by,just replace the gaskets.I hate to say it but some shops are in it for the Bucks or just concerned for come backs(shop returns for workmanship or parts failures)that cost them.
