Truck Repair: 8.3 injector pump drive slipping, torque nut, torqued

Question
I have just completed repairs to a 1997 Cummins 8.3, including front cover replacement (due to crack at air compressor mount).  The truck has quit twice now about one mile from the shop.  Both times, injection pump was out of time, appears that shaft is slipping.  Shaft and gear were cleaned properly, gear was torqued to 125 ft/lbs both times.  No wear evident on gear or shaft, and it didn't have this problem before the repairs.  HELP !!

Answer
If it is a 30MM or 1 3/16 socket it torques to 145-150.CLEAN OIL OFF SHAFT & GEAR with some none residue, fast drying contact cleaner then torque nut to 106 INLBS.Remove the pump timimg pin & torque to specs. This is of course done after engine is on TDC & pump timed.
