Chrysler Repair: 1996 plymouth ralleye mini van, wrecker yard, transmission shop

My 1996 plymouth rallye mini van will not shift into higher gear. the RPM S  reach about 5 at 50 mph. Could this be a vaccuum line problem?

It sounds more like the shift computer is causing the problem. A quick scan of the computer system at the dealer or a good transmission shop will verify this. If you do need a computer, I would suggest picking it up at a wrecker yard because of the cost. I haven't seen any chry's stuck in low that wasn't the computer. Let me know.
