Truck Repair: 90 ford not starting, crankshaft position sensor, detroit lockers

i just bought a f-150 it has all kinds of up grades to the truck 12 inch suspension 39.5 TSL 4:10 front and rear  detroit lockers dyna 60 rear dyna 44 front  but the problem is the stock efi cut out on me today and will not start i was driving about 35 mph in 4 gear about 1000-1500 rpms and then the beast just cut out on me i check fuel and gas,i smell fuel when i crank it over but no spark the starter solinoid looks brand new but the rest of the ignition system looks beat up i know on these efi motor there are sensors everywhere .. what could be the problem are there any common problems with fords of this year doing this. i dont want to go ripping into the motor until i have a idea of what could cause this .

Hi Marc,
Actually, the most common problem is a loose connection.
Other than that, it will probably need a scan tool connected to see just what all is working.
If you are sure there is fuel, and sure there is no spark, and have already checked the ign fuse, then a good guess would be the crankshaft position sensor, or camshaft position sensor.
