96 dodge 12v     All of a sudden I have oil blowing out the breather tube-- lost 2 quarts in the last 3 days ---about 150 miles.  Is this a blown head gasket? If so approx cost to fix
Thank you -- Ed
Answer -
Not a head gasket.Either the turbo or the vacuum pump.MAKE sure that all the hoses are connected for the vacuum pump. The vacuum pump is in front & made with the power steering pump
What am I looking for at the turbo? The vacuum seems fine (also 130,000 miles)
Thank you again Ed

Answer
It will be kind of difficult for a novice to check blow-by with out a dyno and special tools to block off componants to verify which one is bad.You cna take the discharge(pipe going to the frt of the radiator) pipe off of the turbo to see if it is putting oil into the intake. If it is,turbo is bad.
