Truck Repair: Crossheads, torque settings, crosshead

Could you please explain how to set the cross heads on a NTAA 380 STC on setting the valves and injectors. I have been informed that injector torque settings are 90inch per 1lb. Is this information correct?

Well the 90 in lbs should be good.If the crossheads have an adjusting screw,you loosen the locknut.Then hold on the crosshead in the center.Back out the screw some & then slowly turn screw in until you feel the screw in the crosshead trying to lift it up.Lock the crosshead jam nut.
