Truck Repair: N-14 trouble, oversized loads, pressure tests

Question
I haul oversized loads in a 1998 KW W900B with an N-14.  In hard pulls at low speed the engine will cut out.  There are also some random occurences.  It takes 3 to 10 seconds of cranking before it will start. I have replaced the engine position sensor, but it didn't help.  Cummins performed fuel pressure tests and diagnostics.  They couldn't find a fault code.  Do you have any suggestions?

Answer
The missfire under a load is an injector solenoid sticking.Until it happens everytime under a load,it will be hard to find exactly which one it is.Hard to start could be a drain back issue.Cummins makes a check valve that goes in the ECM cooling plate fuel oulet to prevent this. They make a straight & a 90 degree fitting. Some come in the ECM from the factory.Remove the fitting & check it to see if it is restricted & open from debris.
