Where is the Voltage Regulator located on a 1991 Chevy K1500 with a 305 engine. THANKS!

Hi Lloyd,
There are two types of alternators on 91 Chevy light trucks. Both have the regulator located inside the alternator.

Best thing to do is take the alternator to "O"Reillys, have them bench test it, and if a replacement is needed, get the lifetime warranty replacement from them.

I am in no way associated with them, but that is the best deal I have found.
