Truck Repair: l-10 engine misfire, engine misfire, check fuel


Question
we have  a l-10 ,it idles fine the more rpm it gets the rougher it runs,we have already check wiring harness to and from ecm,injector harness,all grounds,.there are no faults in insite we have  a computer.we are about to give up and take to cummins dealer.please help. thanks red taylor.the truck is 1993 volvo wg,single axle it runs 24hrs. day 6 days a week

Have you done a cyl cutout test?Checked EPS sensor?Check Fuel restriction & Pressure?(pressure should be around 150 psi at all times,restriction less than 10 in.hg.)Sounds more like a fuel restriction problem,an inj electrical problem will log fault codes.I would remove the EPS sensor & visually check it & then ohmn it out.The 2 outside pins are one coil & 2 inside pins are another coil.They shoud read from 1000-2000 ohmns.Check EPS(sensor reading cam gear,11/16 wrench to remove it)to make sure plug is not oil soaked & that the black ceramic/plastic is NOT protruding past the gold metal housing,if it is,replace it.
