Truck Repair: 92 dodge cummins, dodge cummins, injection pumps

Quit like ya turned the key off. How shall i t roubleshoot this?, Im in the middle of nowhere. supect injection pump, power to sol how does the injection pump work like something sheard off in pump,please help me

I sure wish I could tell you how,all I can tell you is there should be 12V to the solenoid with key on.You could remove the plunger from the solenoid & drive it with out it because it has a manual shutdown on the side of the pump.It is very timely to remove the solenoid because of the freaking brace on the rear of the pump.Those injection pumps rarely just go out,but they do.
