Truck Repair: do you know about mitsubishi trucks?, air control valve, mitsubishi trucks

i waas goin down the road yesterday and my engine spti and sputtered for about 4 seconds, then about 100 yards later it did it again, ive noticed a little loss of power(not that i had alot to begin with, but still ....) and now when it is idling, it sounds like its about to die, it never does, but it feels like its going to shake itself off the motor mounts, do you maybe know whats wrong? or if not, can you direct me to someone who does? thank you for your time.ohhh yea, before i forget, my truck is a 1986 mitsubishi pickup, 2 wheel drive, 4 cylinder, either a 2.0 or a 2.4 somethin like that

Hello Jack,
I appologize for not answering the question sooner.
I was out of town, and signed out on vacation, but the All Experts system let me down, and didn't get my vacation posted.
It sounds like the EGR valve may be dirty.
Other possibilities are fuel filter, and idle air control valve.
