Truck Repair: thermostat, radiator shop, thermostat

i have a 75 chev 1/2 ton truck with a small hole in radiator, can't afford new one yet.
i was told that the leak would almost stop if i removed the thermostat.
tried stop leak with no good results

Hello Carl,
I have been there myself, and know what you mean.
That radiator is very easy to remove, and a radiator shop can close off a single tube for you.
If you get it temporarily stopped, it may give out on you at the worst possible time.
