Answer
If its a FLD112,it want fit if you are asking about a 855 350 HP.Is it an Celect or STC engine? If its an electronic engine,it probably be better rebuilding it rather than the head ache of trying to get parts to make it fit & work.Is it actually consuming oil or has excessive blow-by?We dont see a whole lot of oil consumtion on those engines.Mainly get rebuilt because of a failure, high milage,or got dirt in the intake system.Cummins did have at one time a rebuild kit that had main & rod bearings, cyl kits, pan gasket,& head set.I would replace the head with a recon for the warranty instead of local machine shop rebuild. If it has had dirt in the intake causing excessive oil consumtion, replace the air compressor also.Have seen air compressor cause blow-by also.
