Vintage Cars: radiator, mgb roadster, plud

Question
i have a 1979 MGB Roadster. I need to change the radiator and get a new one. While taking the old one out there is an electrical plud that kicks in the fans for cooling. This is standard on this model. My question is how to remove the plug. It has 2 wires and turns in the radiator but doesn't seem to just unplug. Thanks."

Answer
It does just pull out, there are some tabs INSIDE the radiator, you have to pull it out at a sharp angle to get these tabs clear. they can be fairly reluctant to move. - its hard to describe..

NOTE: the grommet is destroyed by the removing of the switch, aquire a new grommet before removing the switch.

A little washing liquid can make it slip out easier.

You just have to manipulate it.. maybe theres a vid on youtube..
