Vintage Cars: 1979 sl pressure plate, bosch fuel injection, broken spring

pressure plate want open on accelaration, not stuck can work it fine by hand on accelaration,just want open when you accelarate

this plate system can be serviced, but it is an intricate process.  Sounds like you have a broken spring or a binding sensor arm.
