Vintage Cars: 1991 Jaguar XJS V12 Converteble, jaguar xjs v12, jaguar xjs

Question

XJS
Dear Ron,
I am looking into buying a third car, something to keep in the garage most of the time and take out on weekends when the weather is nice. I always had a thing for older Jaguars and I absolutely adore the XJS convertible, therefore I was wondering if it was a good investment. I have found a dark blue 1991 XJS HE V12 with 33,000km on the clock that seems to be in excellent condition. Do you think that a car like the XJS could gain value in the future? I know that it's not exactly rare and that most of them don't look that great, but I think this one is rather stunning.
Thank you in advance for your answer.
Regards,
Rok

Answer
Rok, if you are going to invest the Mark II is the Jag to invest in, the one you are talking about , well as you said, not so much.  As you described it , sounds nice.  The biggest issue on that model is the electronics, make sure they all work!  Also service history is key as is someone local to service.  generally a good car , good ride and a looker.

Drive it and enjoy, good luck
