Vintage Cars: Buick GS California 340 1967, buick gs, california cars

I saw a posting about somebody who was going to buy a California GS 340 but he said the VIN number was 433077z120640 and he was wondering if it was  a california GS...I have a California GS VIN number  433077Z120617 .....the 33  stands for  Buick Special V-6 but I believe the Specials were taken in the California plant and made into the California GS  ....Any expertise on this?  Thank you

I'm really sorry, but this question is outside of my area of expertise - I'm a pre-war, independent kind of a guy. I think to get this question answered, I would search the internet for the national Buick Owner's club, and then, more specifically, try and find out if that club has more detailed information about the GS California cars.
