Vintage Cars: 107 1983 380 sl, cold vacuum, vacuum leak


Question
car runs very rough when cold.once car warms up it seems
to run good.ignition system and fuel system are ok.wondering if you have any ideas.

I would check one of several items

pull plug and look at tip , if black , may indicate too much gas at start, can come from leaking injectors or leaking cold start valve.
Try unplugging sensor from air cleaner intake, see if that help, these often go bad
Sticking or sluggish fuel plate, these get gummed up and can stick when cold.
Vacuum leak, check all rubber for signs of cracks
