Vintage Cars: 1981 Corvette fusible link repair, chevy corvette, fusible link

Question
I have a 1981 Chevy Corvette that is getting no power.  I have replaced the starter and I have been told it is the fusible link.  Where is it located, and how do I know if it is the problem?
Thanks

Answer
your battery is Good correct?  Good ground connections? Follow the wire harness to the starter Looking at a 81 wire diagram and it looks like both the red and the red/black or red wires go through a fuseable link directly to the starter selenod directly back to the battery. You may actually have a series of three.
You can check to see if you have power at the starter with a meter - ground one pin and check to see if you get 12 V when the key is turned ( do not turn over engine)
Check the fuseable links with a meter for continuity.  They may look good but may be bad
