Vintage Cars: 1940 chrysler royal business coupe, royal business, business coupe

Question
I recently purchased this car with 17,000 origional miles. It is almost flawless. Still has origional tires on it and the car runs fine. Always garaged. Two tone grey, all documentation, a dream car. Trying to find out how many made, what it might be worth, should I keep or sell. Thanks Bill

Answer
From your description, I'm thinking you have a keeper there.  Business coupes were almost always run into the ground, rarely well-kept or restored.  A lot of people are looking for them today, if only because of their original rarity, and their VERY few numbers today.  Tough to say what it's worth without seeing it, so I'd recommend you invest in having it professionally appraised, if only for insurance purposes if you decide to hang onto it.  For more info, you should ask some questions on this site:

They'll be able to answer your questions about numbers produced (Chrysler wasn't very good with their records back then...).
