Vintage Cars: 1979 MGB, estate purposes, time tim

I recently inherited a white 1979 MGB with black leather interior.  The car is beautiful and very clean.  It has 34,709 original miles and everything works.  On a scale of 1-10, 10 being showroom condition I would place this car at an 8.  I am only looking for a value for estate purposes only not to sell it.  I need to compensate my sister in an equal amount for the value of the car.  If it matters the car is in the Chicago, IL suburbs.  Thank you for your time.

I live in New Zealand so I do not know the values in the USA.

Here in NZ the car would be worth between NZ$7000 and NZ$8000 which in your currency is about US$4760 and US$5440.

However with a car in the condition you describe an enthusiast may well pay a higher price.
