The ultimate in functional X-Terra stock performance comes in the form of the PRO-4X model, which does not need the aftermarket to be ready for light off-roading duty. With independently controlled torque distribution front and rear and side to side plus a locking differential with a low-range crawl mode, the PRO-4X is ready for some suspension work and the Rubicon Trail.
Like all other models, the PRO-4X comes with Nissan's dual-overhead-cam, 4.0-liter V- engine. Color choices the same in this iteration, reflecting Nissan's desire to not visually differeniate its top trim levels too far for that "sleeper" look.
