How to Turn on Hazard Lights on a Chrysler Sebring

The hazard lights on your Chrysler Sebring are an important safety feature. If you ever need to stop on the edge of a busy (or even not so busy) road, you'll need to know how to turn the hazard lights on. The hazard lights will warn other drivers around you that you are stopped and potentially having a problem. The hazards are also useful when driving in inclement weather or when you are not able to drive at or near the posted speed limit.

  • Sit in the driver's seat of the vehicle.

  • Look to the right of the steering wheel. There will be a center console. In front of the shifter knob there will be three adjustable dials. Above the dials there are a series of up to seven buttons (depending on what options came with your Sebring). One of those buttons has a red triangle on it. This is the hazard light button.

  • Press the hazard button once. This will turn on the hazard lights. The hazard lights are "hot-wired," meaning they will come on, even when the ignition key is not in the ignition. To turn them off, push the button again.
