How to Change the 3rd Brake Light on an Acura

Depending on the year and model, the third brake light on your Acura vehicle is located on the trunk lid, above the rear window frame or mounted on the deck just inside the rear window. It is a very important component for your safety, but if the brake light goes out, you can easily replace the bulb in a matter of minutes. The third brake light uses a type-7440 bulb which can be purchased at most automotive parts stores. Be sure to always have your Acura's lights in working order since all states have laws against driving with faulty brake lights.
