How to Fix Your Air Conditioner for Car or SUV

It is hot and the outside air inside your car is just a fan of hot air. You checked all the fluid levels and everything is up to the right level. How do you get your air cool?

  • If you park your car or SUV far from the house so the Mice and Rats might attack it, make sure you park near the house.

    Parking your car near the house will keep rodents away so you car insides will not have problems later.

  • Read you manual for your car or SUV to find the low pressure port and remove the cap. To start with, it is under the hood.
    It is usually located on the larger aluminum tubing between the evaporator and compressor.

    Under the hood is very interesting.
  • Start your engine and run the A/C on Max.

    Run the engine while you are loading the Refrigerant.
  • Attach a can of Refigerant with the attached gauge and valve. Shake can well before starting. Press button to engage refigerant into valves. Rotate can between 12 o'clock and 3 o'clock. Frequently release button to check pressure.

    For instance if Ambient temp is (work environment temperature) 95 Degrees the gauge should read 45 - 55 psi.

    If you leave the Refrigerant in the Car this is what will happen. Put it in the valve.
