Ford mounted the fuel pump shut-off switch on the outer kick panel in the passenger foot well in your 2002 E-250 van, unless it is a commercial stripped-chassis vehicle. In the stripped-chassis E-250, the fuel pump shut-off switch mounts on a bracket above the brake pedal. Don't reset the shut-off switch if you smell fuel or see a fuel leak.
A fuse located in the power distribution box in the engine compartment protects the fuel pump relay. Check the green, 30A maxi-fuse in slot No. 17 if the fuel reset button isn't your culprit. The PDB contains high-current fuses, so disconnect the battery before tinkering in this fuse panel. The fuel pump relay is in slot "K." Have the relay replaced by a qualified technician if you suspect it is bad.
