The Lincoln Navigator comes standard with an Anti-Theft system, which sounds an alarm when the doors are opened or if someone attempts to start the vehicle without the proper key. This system uses a "MyKey" program which means the key is programmed to the specific vehicle. Without this key, the system will arm and will not start. Aftermarket anti-theft devices cannot be used with the system as it will cause starting problems on the Lincoln Navigator.
Unlock any door with the key.
Press the "Unlock" button on the key fob within 20 seconds.
Start the ignition within 20 seconds while the chimes are sounding. The anti-theft deterrent is now disabled.
