The Corvette is most commonly known for its speed and flash as a classic sports car, but it also features a number of the most common features seen on cars. One such feature, the ignition switch, is used to start your Corvette with your car key. If this part of your car breaks, you need to remove and replace it.
Insert your ignition key into the ignition coil and leave it in the "Off" position.
Insert a straightened out paper clip into the slot just next to the key slot. Make sure to press the paper clip in all the way.
Turn the key to the "Acc" position and pull on both the key and the clip at the same time to slide the ignition coil out.
Place the coil down and then remove the paper clip before removing the key.
