As the United States luxury division of Japanese automaker Nissan Motors, Infiniti has been producing coupes, sedans and crossover sports utility vehicles (SUVs) since 1989. The 2008 Infiniti G35 is an entry-level mid-sized car with an enabled keyless entry system. When the battery in the keyless entry fob fails, you must open the fob to replace the battery. Opening a 2008 Infiniti G35 keyless entry fob requires no special tools.
Hold the Infiniti G35 key fob face-down in the palm of your hand.
Slide the small switch on the back of the fob to release the mechanical key. Slide the mechanical key out of the electronic fob.
Look for the small slot on the electronic fob that was covered by the mechanical key. Insert the tip of the manual Infiniti key into the slot. Twist the mechanical key back and forth until the two halves of the fob separate.
