Toyota Hybrid's engine computer consists of a variety of tools and components for your information and protection. One such component of the computer is the system warning light, a solid orange light that is displayed on your vehicle's instrument cluster. The system warning light is an indication that maintenance is required on your vehicle. If you've already performed the maintenance, you can reset the system warning light.
Insert the key into the ignition and turn it one click to the "On" position; do not turn it all the way to start the Toyota.
Push the button below the odometer button on your instrument cluster. The screen will display your vehicle's mileage reading.
Turn the key to the left to the "Off" position.
Push and hold the odometer button with your left hand and turn the key in the ignition to the "On" position. Keep holding the odometer button. "Maint Reqd" will appear on the instrument cluster screen. It will flash and then clear the screen.
Release the odometer button and turn the vehicle off the complete the reset.
