The turn signal flasher unit is a small canister that is located under the dashboard of your Oldsmobile Bravada. In models made prior to 1999, it is located near the cigarette lighter at the center of the dashboard. For 1999 models and newer, it is located in the glovebox.
Remove the negative cable from the battery terminal.
Remove the dashboard panel if the model year is prior to 1999. To do this, remove the screws on the top of the knee bolster. Pull the knee bolster down to remove it.
Remove the faulty turn signal flasher by pulling it out of the socket. Insert the new turn signal flasher into the socket.
Replace the knee bolster and dashboard panel if necessary by placing it against the dashboard and turning all screws clockwise to tighten them.
