The 1987 Kawasaki KX 80 is a dirt bike equipped with an air-cooled, two-stroke, single-cylinder engine. The two-stroke oil for the engine is mixed with the gasoline, 1 ounce for each quart of gasoline. because 4 quarts equal 1 gallon, when you add 4 gallons of gasoline, you must add 16 ounces of two-stroke oil. For the transmission, use 18.6 ounces of SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40 oil.
Most oil producers make a two-stroke oil. You can choose one of those or purchase two-stroke oil at a Kawasaki dealer. Use any good quality SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40 motor oil for the transmission. Remember, the oil you use for the transmission lubricates only the transmission; you must add four ounces of engine oil to every gallon of gas.
