Falken Tire is proud to unveil its new flagship tire in the highly anticipated FK453 model. Based on a rigid carcass with ultra-high tensile strength, the FK453 features an asymmetric tread design with a new silica-enriched compound that allows for more surface contact with the road. This translates into improved handling and control in both wet and dry road conditions. Large outside shoulder blocks provide enhanced cornering and improved braking traction while also reducing tire noise. Rigorously tested on the streets of Europe, engineered and produced in Japan, the FK453 is poised to become yet another industry standard from Falken. Available in 17 to 22 inches.

Raceland USA is excited to release its adjustable coilover kit for the Acura RSX. This coilover kit is perfect for those looking to increase the performance of their RSX while giving vehicle owners the ability to set the height to their desired preferences. The threaded and blue zinc-plated shock bodies allow for ride height to be adjusted 1 to 3 inches lower than OEM, and the hard-anodized aluminum spring seats ensure that height adjustments are made easy. The RSX coilover kit takes advantage of matched spring rates and shock valving to ensure there is a perfect balance of performance and street comfort. The Raceland RSX coilover kit is $369 and available for all ’02–’06 Acura RSXs.

Sporty Shoes

STR Racing Wheels has just released its 505 model for the import market. It is currently available in a four-lug, 15x7.5 +15 offset, though STR noted that it is working on a 16x8 model that will be introduced shortly. Color options include gloss black or gold center with machined lip, or gloss black or gold with machined face and lip (other colors available soon). While STR concentrates on 15- and 16-inch old-school-style wheels, the company also offers 17, 18, and 19-inch staggered wheels as well, in a variety of colors, styles, and applications. Tanabe announces the introduction of its new Sustec Z40 coilover system. Relying upon advanced dampers produced by KYB, the Z40 system offers fully adjustable ride height, 40-way damping adjustment, and a high-quality twin-tube design. To aid with longevity, a nickel plating and black powdercoat allows for a durable, long-lasting finish while resisting the elements. Unlike many coilovers on the market, the Z40 features a specially tapered locknut to prevent loosening during harsh driving conditions.
