EBC brakes announces the launch of its new Bluestuff Full Race Brake pad formulation for a wide range of cars, designed to push the performance of sport and race brakes even higher. Designed using aramid man-made fibers, the Bluestuff pads deliver an incredible 0.7 friction coefficient quickly after install and hold brake effect up to temps well in excess of 1,000 degrees. The pads are rotor friendly and damage to rotors is halved compared to semi-metallic pads which also throw hot sparks that can damage wheels and caliper seals. EBC also uses a new heat scorching furnace that toasts the pad surfaces using 1,000-degree infra red light to pre-bed the pads, enabling drivers to install and race on track days.
