Rockford Fosgate Power T1 Speakers - Audio And Electronics October 2009 - Super Street Magazine

Summer's over and you haven't even started on your projects, right?! Maybe it's fortunate that you procrastinate like you're going to live forever. We got some new gear for you that might inspire you to get back into that oven of a garage. So if you need navigation, some new speakers, a woofer or some wiring for the DIY projects you promised yourself you were going to finish before the end of summer, then lookie here. These products are just as good at twice the price but available for half that.

Rockford Fosgate T1 POWER Speakers
IRockford's known for its power. But they're selling more than power here. It's also about the best sound. By maximizing cone area through VAST (Vertical Attach Surround Technique), Rockford increases output without increasing the overall dimensions of the loudspeaker. POWER component systems also feature treated cloth dome tweeters that connect through audiophile grade component external crossovers boasting a class leading 5% tolerance. The full-range speakers integrate a unique offset cantilever mounted design with 19mm aluminum dome tweeters for enhanced clarity and detail. A wide range of different size speakers are available.
MSRP: Coaxes start at $199.99; component systems at $399.99

The compact drive measures 4-3/8 inches by 4-1/8 inches by 1 inch and comes in a spiffy black box. Kenwood Subwoofers
I love the look of the new KFC-W3012. Kenwood's engineers put a little more effort behind the improved cosmetic design, but more importantly, the woofer also has a shallower mounting depth and longer cone excursion. RMS power is rated at 400 watts with a max peak power of 1,200 watts. The woofer offers silver 8-gauge push-type input terminals, ideal for quick system hookup even with the use of a wider gauge speaker cable. The KFC-W2512 is a 10" subwoofer that is rated at 300 watts (RMS) with a max peak power of 1,000 watts. A 12" dual 4-ohm voice coil version, the KFC-W3012DVC provides multiple impedance options for a wider range of system applications.
MSRP: Ranges from $130-150
